Facilitators’ end-of-year celebration

At the end of the year 2014, the facilitators of ADEPR Kigali organized a ceremony of thanks to God for all activities done during the year of 2014 . On 23 December every facilitator was accompanied by his wife, and they invited some church leaders and HOPE staff. ADEPR was represented by general secretary Rev. SEBAGABO Leonard, Rev. HAKIZIMANA Joseph representing the Kigali region. The transformed life of Mukamwiza Felomain

The SCA program has continued to be a very outstanding holistic transformation agent in the country and specifically in the Anglican Church of Rwanda Kibungo Diocese. In an interactive sharing with one of the beneficiaries, she told us her story. SCA formation progress

The Itabire program began officially on April 2014. In June 2014, orientation occurred. In August 2014, facilitator’s training took place. Since then to the present, group creation is happening. In our program we already have 37 groups in 15 local churches with 15 facilitators. Our groups are newborns so there are no tangible great things the said groups have already achieved. The amazing thing is that many Christians are interested in joining groups. It is seen by observing the group creation how much they like this program. Twivane Mubukene SCA

This savings and credit group is called Twivane Mubukene. It is located in the Western Province of Rwanda, Rutiro District, the sector of Rusebeya and the cell of Ruronde. It works in the Presbyterian church in Rwanda, Gisenyi Presbytery, Parish of Karambo. This group of Twivane Mubukene started in September, 2013. It is composed of 34 members, where 16 are women and 18 are men. Each member of the group started by saving 3,000 FRw by using ASCA with interest rate for credit of 10 percent.
